⭕ Porsche 911 2.8 Carrera RSR MFI fuel injection system. This system started out as a genuine 2.2 911S system. The 2.2 70/71 MFI systems are the only system one can reliably use to build a lasting 2.8 RSR system short of going to high butterfly or slide injection. The 2.0 S system (901 part numbers for both throttle bodies and stacks instead of the vastly improved 911 part number components) had thin bosses and the early castings were full of porosity, so when these were opened up you did not end up with smooth stacks or lasting throttle bodies.
These are correct and ultra rare 911.110.303.1R stacks that have been properly opened from 42mm top/ 38mm bottom to 42mm top/ 40mm bottoms and the throttle bodies were rebuild with larger throttle plates and are rare, original 911.110.101.2R castings that have been modified from 38mm top / 36mm bottom (S/RS) to 40mm top/ 38mm bottom for a 2.8 or 2.9 liter competition engine. These were done years ago by ex-works mechanic Andie Bittenbinder. The pump started out as a base 2.4 MFI pump and had been reconfigured by MFI-Hans to 2.8 RSR (10.3:1 compression/ RSR camshafts/twin plug) specs. quite a few years ago.
Everything is in fabulous shape. Included is the fuel filter console with all fittings, 6 injectors, the high pressure fuel lines, the MFI high pressure pump console, the oil pressure sending unit with connecting hardware, the breather cover with the MFI pump oil inlet, the MFI belt, a late plastic air filter housing in excellent shape. The stacks have the tall venturies mounted onto them inside the factory steel air-filter cups.
This system will work well on any 2.7-2.9 liter race or a 3.0 liter street engine.
