A highly sought after vintage 4 stroke V8 RC engine

This engine is the epitomy of precision engineering; a small scale replica of the De Havilland Cirrus V8 of the vintage era, beautifully made by Profi

This engine features open rockers, twin carbs, 4 into 1 manifolds (1 per cylinder bank) & glow plug connector rods (1 per cylinder bank), all making for a neat installation. The cubic capacity of this engine is about 34cc & the RPM range is about 2,000 RPM to 9,000 RPM. The recommended fuel is castor straight (80% methanol & 20% castor oil) & up to 15% nitro methane can be used

This engine is as new / unused. This engine turns overs smoothly with new engine compression making the correct sounds, with the beautiful open rocker movement on display. This engine has been factory run / tested for quality, tuning & setting up purposes
