Mk V Mod 1 Diving Helmet

⭕ AUTHENTIC 1942 MK. V DIVING HELMET

My uncle graduated from diving school in 1957, and he was a qualified diver for over 33 years. The helmet with stand, diving dress, boots, and knife were given to me by a fellow diver and friend over 30 years ago, prior to his passing. The breastplate is still marked with a red spot to identify the diver as RED Diver for underwater communications. The lifeline and air hose tie-downs are still in place from the last time the helmet was used.

The name-plate on the front of the breastplate has a serial number and all parts; breastplate clamps, port protectors, and helmet display the same serial number. The diving dress is marked size 2. Other than stains and marks from use, and some very minor cracking of the rubber at the cuffs and where the dress mates with the breastplate, the dress is in relatively good condition. The boots are in good condition with the exception of the missing lacing on one. The knife is in good condition except for very minor rusting on the blade.

The helmet with stand, dress, boots and knife are a package deal. Requests for individual pieces will not be honored.

Shipping is in two boxes; box one contains the helmet, breastplate and stand. Box two contains the dress, boots and knife.
