The QGB is a complex, servo driven, electromechanical device that - when paired with the Nagra IV recorder - provides the equivalent of the Nagra T with regard to being able to utilize 10 1/2 reels. It is totally unlike the Stellavox ABR 75, for example, which was a strictly mechanical device relying on belt drive from the recorder reel tables. The QGB has two internal motors, controlled by a precision electronic servo system. Along with the QGB itself, the connection cable to the Nagra recorder is included, as are a pair of (originally optional) Nagra NAB hub adaptors.
