VINTAGE AKAI GX-747 REEL TO REEL RECORDER


⭕ Description
You are looking at a superb Akai model GX-747 reel to reel tape recorder. This was one of the best units that Akai made, and this particular one is in superb shape. It includes the rare reel cover, original box and manuals. it has seen little use over the years and has recently been professionally serviced.
This is one of the most sought-after reel-to-reel recorders. with it being dbx-equipped, the sonic results are amazing. It came out in 1981 and was an instant success. This piece is one of the best examples of 9 open reel technology and would make a great addition to that audiophile collection. Best of all, we are selling this at NO RESERVE. We will let the market determine the value.
Condition Report:
The GX-747 is in great condition and fully working. The clear plastic cover for the front is in good shape but has one faint scratch across it. There is a small social security number scribed in the top as shown in the photos from years ago.
Specifications:
The sale includes the reel to reel, original box with styrofoam inserts for safe transport and storage, the original manuals, several tape reels, and the clear plasticcover for the front assembly.
