⭕ For sale a nice original Radio Station Control Room console and microphone. The console is thought to date back to the mid to late 1930s and the microphone is believed to be a little older still, possibly dating back to the late 1920s. The microphone is a Western Electric Model 387W, and is in nice original shape with a tabletop stand. The stand has been repaired to look similar to the original, but the suspension springs and ring appear to be original. The console has a Western Electric plate at the top front and appears to be a commercially-made product, but there is no identifying model number or other obvious identifying serial numbers, etc. As you would expect with something of this vintage, the console is a bit worn, and dusty, but is in good shape with all switches and dials operable with solid contacts.
