⭕ I bought that great vintage bike a couple of years ago, first bike I got when I got a permanent contract here in London... Great bike on which I had loads of fun, unfortunately I am moving out of the country so I need to sell it.

The bike however is not running at the moment... No response at all when hitting the start button. I am 99% sure the problem is a loose connection somewhere: it happened when I was on the road, and I could push-start it and then it ran well all the way home (100 miles later). The starter and relay work: I tested them, and by connecting the relay directly to the battery the starter was working at normal speed.

Unfortunately I have neither the time (or to be honest, the competency) to find where the issue exactly is. I could bring it to the garage but they could charge a lot, and for a bike that age that I will sell anyway I dont think it is worth it. So Im selling it, ideally to someone who could fix that easily, if not to someone for spares. The battery is probably dead now from not running for months through winter, not sure if its salvageable with a charger. Also someone hit the bike when parking, so now there is a turn signal and the front brake lever to change...

The bike had always been taken good care of (I know how to do non-electric work myself), I dont drive fast (I know its a sports-bike, but I mostly got it because I loved its looks...), and when I hit the engine it is ALWAYS after having got it to temperature (there is a gauge for that). So if youre getting the bike for spare parts the engine will be in good condition. So is the fairing, despite the odd scratch here and there. It always passed MOT, so no issue on that side either once you fix the electrical problem.
