⭕ This is the Gibson USA Custom Shop Limited Edition Gary Rossington 59 Les Paul. 24.75 scale. 1 11/16 nut width. 10 lbs. Skynyrds Gary Rossington has always had an incredible tone. The key ingredient to that tone is Bernice, his beloved 59 Les Paul. Gibsons Custom Shop produced a limited edition run of guitars honoring Bernice. Virtually identical to the original, these guitars are highly sought after by collectors for their tone and, as such, are extremely rare. Starting off with a one piece mahogany body/neck and figured maple top, this Rossington has the vintage Paul- warm & extremely resonant with exceptional mids. Gibson chose the 57 Classics to reproduce the PAF tone and character. Plugging in, youll be stunned- this Rossington is exceptionally responsive. Chords have depth and clarity and leads absolutely sing off the bridge pickup. The neck pickup probably has the best sustain Ive ever heard- thick and seemingly endless. Exceptional, sweet tone are the calling cards here. The neck here has the 59 rounded profile- nice and chunky. This adds great tone transfer as well as makes squeezing bends pure bliss. The Custom Shop had Tom Murphy age the Rossington to replicate the look and feel of the original. Marks, finish checks, even the screws on Rossingtons guitar were replicated. Absolutely amazing. This Rossington is in excellent condition. The frets are clean- just professionally setup with action of 3/32 at the 12th fret.
