RARE 1961 Vintage Epiphone Emperor Hollowbody A BEAUTY - Musical Instruments - By Owner


⭕ This electric hollowbody is EXTREMELY RARE as it was only available via custom order from the Gibson factory. This is one of 16 made in 1961!
No cracks! No breaks! No refinishing! No refretting!
Features a Vivid Sunburst finish on a double bound body, 3 PAF mini humbuckers, a Factory Bigsby, all Gold Hardware, and Vine inlay on a bound headstock. Gorgeous Sunburst fade on the back of a Multiple bound neck with brazilian rosewood fingerboard, bridge and split V inlays. Tuners have been upgraded to gold Grover Imperials. Tune-o-matic bridge on a rosewood base. All binding has aged to a beautiful patina. Overall, very minimal finish checking. Nice, buzz-free low action with minimal fret wear. Highly figured Birds Eye Maple on the back. Strong, evenly balanced PAF mini-humbucker pickups. Comes with the original silver and blue plush lined hardshell case and original stamped hang tag!
