⭕ There is a gigantic room available in Whitechapel area. The room is on the top floor of a four floor walk up apartment.

The room: The room is very large and includes a large desk, with plenty of shelving, a double-size mattress with box-spring, two large closets with extra space for storage, and 2 large windows that face north. There is also a radiator in the room so the place stays warm during the winter. The mattress and box-spring come with the room. The room gets great natural light and is the biggest room in the flat. The curtains are thick and do a great job of keeping out the sun when you are sleeping in.

The rest of the flat: You will share a bathroom with the other individual living on the fourth floor--it will only be you two and therefore very convenient--it is a rarity to have to wait for the toilet/shower. It is a stall shower with good pressure and hot water.

There is a kitchen with a four burner stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator, which we share. There is also shelving and everyone gets a spot there too. Lastly, there is a small kitchen table with a few chairs where people eat and congregate around. As is common in many flats in London there is no living room so the kitchen often serves as the social gathering place. It is by no means a beautiful kitchen but it absolutely does the job and everyone puts in work to keep it clean. There is also a washing machine.

The flatmates: The flatmates are a very friendly group. There are 6 people in total--5 guys, 1 woman. We use a WhatsApp group to let each other know if we are going out to a bar/restaurant and generally how to meet up. The flatmates are all young and do a variety of things (some work, some students).

The location: The flat is in an incredible location--10 minutes walk to the legendary food of Brick Lane, 15 minutes to the bars/nightlife of Shoreditch, a 10 minute walk to Aldgate East tube station (District and Hammersmith lines) and Aldgate tube station (Circle, Metropolitan, and Hammersmith), Whitechapel tube (Overground), 5 minutes to a Santander Cycles bike stop, and easy walking to a bunch of restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping, etc. If you prefer walking you can walk into the City of London in 30 minutes.

You: As I am moving out, the flat is looking for someone new to take my place. It would be great if you were someone that was friendly and outgoing but have a job/student to stay busy. Should be clean but not a stickler and generally relaxed.
