⭕ THE REAL DEAL! ORIGINAL March 1965 VERY EARLY CBS 100% original, totally unmodified Candy Apple Red Fender Jazz Bass, NOT a reissue, refin, or repro. AN AMERICAN BEAUTY!

This bass is featured on page 312 of the 2011 Vintage Guitar Price Guide and page 322 of the 2012 VG Price Guide.

Candy Apple Red with matching headstock. One of the last Fender Candy Apples with silver base coat, Fender changed to gold sometime in mid-1965.

Untouched solder joints. All pots have matching 304 65. . . 1965 code #s.

8.8 on a scale of 10 condition, 7 MAR 65 neck stamp, serial # L75XXX. Original panhead type cover and control plate screws. BEAUTIFUL NO ISSUES CUSTOM COLOR BASS still wearing its original Fender flatwound strings!


Light checking on body, lots of checking on headstock, a few small dings around the edges, no belt wear. 100 % original, straight neck, NO fret wear, no lacquer wear on back of neck. Includes original chrome pickup/bridge covers and original hardshell case.

Electronics work fine. Neck pickup reads 7.96, bridge pickup reads 8.21K ohms DC resistance. Expertly set up, super evenly straight neck, low action, plays great!
