1956 Oldsmobile Rebuilt Engine Hot Rod 1932 Ford Roadster Drag

⭕ This sale is for a rebuilt 1956 Oldsmobile engine. The engine was thoroughly cleaned, inspected, magna-fluxed, bored 040, new pistons, rings, pins, reconditioned rods, rebuilt oil pump, turned crankshaft, new bearings, and balanced. New cam blank, ground by Camcraft for street use and hydraulic lifters, specifications upon request. New lifters and pushrods. Rebuilt adjustable 1.8 rocker arms with new rocker shafts. Stainless valves with new exhaust hard seats. New timing gears and chain. Crank drilled for standard shift pilot bearing. Rebuilt water pump and front balancer. Converted to spin-on oil filter. Engine painted correct hi-temp 1956 Oldsmobile green. Rare vintage Hildebrandt valve covers, polished. Offenhauser 3X2 manifold polished. Rebuilt 57 Olds J2 Rochester 2GC carburetors with progressive ball bearing linkage. Vintage Vertex magneto rebuilt, polished. I had this engine built for a 1949 Oldsmobile that has been sold. This engine may be used in any Oldsmobile from 49-56, and of course was the engine of choice for many early Ford hot rods. Build a very cool early hot rod using this Olds engine as the crown jewel. The 1950 Olds stick shift bell housing on the engine is included as are the original Hurst engine mounts.
