Chrysler Straight 8 Flathead Marine Engine 165 HP Garwood


⭕ 1948 Chrysler M48-S 165 HP Engine and transmission for sale. As you can see from the picture, it is in show worthy condition. The engine was removed from a 24 foot Garwood Triple run-about years ago. The engine was rumored to have been rebuilt with about 30 hours run-time on it. In a partial tear down it was found the engine had new pistons (std bore), rod bearings, cam bearing, main bearings, camshaft etc and valve guides looked consistent with an engine of very low hours. There was no rust in the engine and it is evident it was only used in fresh water.
