The Yamaha is touch sensitive, so very little pressure is needed to apply to the keys to make a sound although this can be adjusted. It has 100 different sounds that can be sample. It has 100 pre programmed songs that it will play and 100 pre programmed backing tracks to play along to. It also has a few pre programmed lessons that will teach you how to play in built songs as well as a multitude of other features. Very versatile light weight keyboard.
The CDP-100 has proper weighted keys, so the action feels like an upright piano. It has 5 different pre programmed sounds you can play in. Very good built in speakers, and it comes with a sustain pedal. Very nice to play and has a full length keyboard.
The Hercules stand can be adjusted in height, and width. The height from the keyboard to the floor and the space between the keyboards can be adjusted independently of one another
