⭕ This is a wonderful, antique Persian solid silver & enamel tea service set - circa 1900.

The set consists of a large tray, covered sugar bowl, 6 cup holders with the 6 original glass cups and 6 enameled spoons.

The colorful enamel is very attractive and done in cloisonne technique in flower, scroll and geometric designs - very similar and with definite influence from Russian enamel silver works of the period.

The tray bears an 84 silver mark and another hallmark for the maker with Arabic inscription.

All silver is thickly gilt - very visible inside thew sugar bowl and cup holders.

The 6 Original hand-blown and hand-cut glass cups with a delicate leaf-design and a makers mark, on the bottom.

The set is in overall excellent condition for the age - no dents or repairs, no enamel losses - some loss to gilt on the bottom of tray from general use - otherwise superb - please view detailed pictures.

The tray is 35.4 x 25 cm and weighs 874.2 grams - the sugar bowl is 14.5 cm wide between handles and weighs 291.8 grams - the 6 holders and spoons weigh 512 grams - net silver weight 1678 grams - total weight 2294 grams (80.9 oz!)
