GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY FUSEE WALL CLOCK

⭕ A VERY RARE GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY FUSEE WALL CLOCK.

This type of wall clock is called a pedestal wall clock. it is not a shelf clock nor does it sit on shelf, the clock is a wall clock, that hangs like a typical wall clock, but it loos like it is sitting on a shelf.

This type of clock was expensive to make, and hardly any were used on the GWR region. But there is another example in Ian Lymans Railway clock book on page 79.

This is a very rare example. there are 1000s of round dial clocks but not many GWR pedestal clocks.

The clock is in excellent condition, if full working order, pendulum is present , but not in the photos.

The bezel is heavy cast brass .

The fusee movement is excellent, and is ready to hang on your wall and enjoy.

It is a very pleasing clock to the eye and looks fantastic.

There is a trap door on the under side of the clock with its door lock and key.
