⭕ Telefunken Vintage 1956 U47 Tube Mic - Fully Tested - All Original - K49 Capsule
Serial number 3055, with a special chrome top, tall body version. It is extremely rare, and in remarkable condition. Truly it is in the nicest shape of any U47 Ive seen. No scratches or marks of any kind, but you will notice by looking at the photos that the body paint shows some signs of age. This is easily covered up by having the microphone refinished for a fairly cheap price, though some might prefer the character of the mic as is. It comes with the original factory box, which youll see indicated by the matching serial numbers. Extremely rare for a mic this old. Its also worth mentioning that the guts of the microphone, once you open it up, are 100% original. The capsule is untouched. And you can tell by the paint on teh screws that its never once been reskinned. All original transformer, caps and resistors....no signs of any -resoldering...and it even has the special VF14 M tube. Not all U47s have the M tube, which was known for its extremely low noise. It is easily the priciest pro audio vacuum tube in the world! I shouldnt need to, but I will: This is Sinatra mic. This is the Lennon mic. This is the mic that defines modern mic culture and that countless mics have aspired to. And there is nothing like the original. This is not just a collectors item.
