⭕ Up for sale is this extremely rare RCA PhotoPhone PB-72.Perhaps one of the most rare of all RCA microphones, the RCA PhotoPhone PB-72 Box Mic is being offered!! The PB-72 is the rare cousin of the ever desirable RCA 4A.It looked like and had the same electronics as the 4A. The label clearly states it is a PB-72 (as seen in pic #3) that was used in PhotoPhone service for studios and sound stages.It was only available on lease from RCA.
This RCA PhotoPhone PB-72 is complete with all parts including tubes, mount for stand and special condenser head with slit opening.The mic is in pristine condition (with the exception of a small sign of wear on the left side of the mic seen in pic # 5).It has not been repainted or restored in anyway except for the replaced cord.
