⭕ Absolutely stunning bronze mirror by Rene Lalique. Lalique is more famous for his glass and jewellery but this mirror, with caryatid figure is certainly typical of his designs. Measuring 29cm in length and 14.5cm in width and estimated to date from 1905- 1912, this is a beautiful piece with a good deal of weight to it. The pictures make up part of the description but as you can see the bronze itself is in good condition, there is some wear to the more elevated parts and I believe there was some colour originally, although this has now mostly all faded. The only negative part is to the glass of the mirror where a large amount of the silver has gone but it somehow adds to the history.
