⭕ This engine is quite special. And if you are truly into Es then you already know what you are looking at! This engine is not only fully operational but would look terrific on a pedistal in an art exhibit or in your Jaguar. I purchased this engine a couple of years ago planning to install it in place of my 4.2 liter engine in my 1967 E Type OTS.

The engine is currently sitting with piston #6 at top dead center to make it easy for your mechanic. The original oil filter housing was not on the engine when I purchased it and David recommended the adapter kit that eliminates the antiquated cotton filters that are not capable of filtering as well as a conventional twist on oil filter that will remove more and smaller contaminents than the elephants tailless tampon. I purchased the kit not only for this engine but also for the engine in my 1967 E as well. What a difference it makes when doing oil changes!
