⭕ Original WWII BSA British folding Paratrooper bicycle. These were dropped at Arnhem, carried ashore at Normandy and ridden around the French and Dutch countryside by anyone who could get their hands on one. Frame has original paint with some kind of brick red primer showing through in a few small places. The paint is in good shape - not flaking off. The metal beneath is also in excellent condition. Original BSA stacked rifle marked handle grips - grips are in good shape - still perfectly serviceable. BSA cut-out marked main toothed wheel . Original WWII tires - both marked War Grade. One is made by Michelin and the other by Dunlop. Tires still hold air just fine. They look better than in the pics. The rubber is not petrified. You can still use the tires. BSA marked lamp attachment. The black tool holder, which has a couple of tools inside, is marked Made in Britain on the inside. Seat is made by Brooks and is original WWII vintage. It is made of very thick leather and is marked B-33. Still usable. Has original black broad arrow mark on front, as well as serial number. These are original and are not replacements. The rear hub and spokes are not painted, which means they must have been replaced at some point. However, the rear hub is marked twice with the BSA stacked rifle logo, which I have tried to photograph. I left them as they are, but if you painted them, I think it would be nearly impossible to tell. No spokes missing. All spokes are strong and not rusted. Original rims with original paint and same brick red undercoating. Original brake cables as far as I can tell. Brakes work fine. Bike folds up as it is meant to - both wing nuts work fine, as does the one on the top of the handlebars. Pedal bars slide in and out as they are meant to. They are not loose. They work as they should. This bicycle has been extremely well looked after. It has been stored indoors in a temperature controlled environment. It has not been abused or mishandled. I have ridden this bike (less than a quarter of a mile) just to test it out and it handles fine. The wheels spin smoothly and are not warped. The double bowed frame is just beautiful.


The bike weighs approximately 22lbs and the size of the box required to ship the bike when folded is 54 x 8 x 30.
