⭕ Allen and Heath ML 5000 48 Channel Mixing Console


This excellent console has been the main FOH mixer at a church. It has never been on the tour or used as a rental. It has always been covered when not in use. I have had personal experience mixing on it for a couple of years. It is a great console to mix on - especially with the 8 VCAs and mute group snapshots. It was used to mix worship services featuring a 150 voice choir and 40 piece orchestra. Not to mention countless ensembles, drama skits and the ever present childrens program.


I have always loved the the sound of the preamps and the logical workflow on this console. The reason the console was replaced was the addition of a second morning worship service. A digital console was installed to provide the ability of a rapid turn around between two completely different worship styles. The warm sound of the Allen and Heath ML5000 was missed.


The only known issue with this console is the center channel VU meter. It is stuck at the -10 position. This is not too big of an issue, due to a LED center channel meter located right next to the VU meter.
