⭕ BUESCHER STRAIGHT Eb ALTO IN BURNISHED SILVER PLATE.I purchased this horn from a collector in 1972.The original neck was missing and a standard Eb alto neck was in its place.As luck would have it,I was at a music educators convention and struck up a conversation with the Buescher factory rep.I explained my straight alto problem and he said he thought he remembered seeing the correct neck on a shelf at the factory.To my happy suprise a package from Buescher arrived about six weeks later with a factory new straight alto neck.This straight alto is in mint condition with no dents,repair work or plating wear.I had it repadded some years ago with the correct Buescher snap in pads and they are still in very good condition.There is a small line in the plating on the body by the high F key cup that is the only flaw on the horn.The case is original and is in very good to near perfect condition.The handle has been replaced.Buescher straight altos are next to the Conn-O-Sax and Buescher Tipped Bell soprano,the rarest of the collectables and one in this condition is even rarer.The horn plays well but takes a little getting used to hearing an alto sound coming from that angle.Get in touch with me if you wish to view some pictures.
