⭕ Old Tyrolean Violin, built in 1795 by Joseph Klotz. Maple wood.Label: Josef Klotz in Mittenwalde, anno 1795 Joseph Klotz (1743--1819) was a member of Klotz (Kloz) violin makers family.
Scale length: 201 mm,The instrument has a strong and beautiful sound, the local buyers in Moscow are welcome to try it out.The violin belonged to M.I. Baldin (1896-1983), a musician with the Orchestra of the All-Union Radio (Soviet Union) under the direction of N.S. Golovanov (chief conductor of the Bolshoi Theatre 1919-1928 and holder of some highest musical positions in the USSR). The instrument has been valuated by an expert of the Russian State Musical Instruments Collection A.S. Kochergin as excellent state (needs a slight restauration).You also purchase a pernambuco (Brazilwood) bow, presumably made by Ludwig Bausch (without label).Round stick.
