⭕ Lowell Kennedy built high quality antique bicycles in his shop for many years. Lowell has passed on but his bikes will endure. Most were made to order, and that is what EAGLE # 7 is. This Eagle was made in 1991 and has been in the same family until now. Looking for a person to ride and enjoy, the large wheel is 51 in diameter and can be ridden by a person with an inseam of from 28 to 34. The Eagle design has the small wheel in front in place of the more traditional small wheel in back. The Large wheel in front caused many over the handlebar crashes (Headers) whereas the small wheel in front prevents this. The small wheel in front is also the steering wheel. High Wheel Safetys are more rare and valuable than the normal high wheel (Ordinary).The only other front wheel High Wheel Safety is the STAR and both the Star and Eagle were made in America. This Eagle is in nearly the same condition as when it left Lowells shop, All spokes intact and tight, wheels true, no play in bearings, seat supple, rubber excellent, paint has some scratches form the few rides and storage. It is estimated the bike has been ridden less than 100 miles.

This is a reproduction and that is why the starting price is 1/3 of what an original would be. Trying to duplicate this bike today would cost over $6,000.
