⭕ The sound is full and rich, and the action is smooth and accurate. Tuning and scale are equally superb, and this instrument in particular has an incredible dynamic range I havent experienced from any other instrument.... the tone is consistent not just up and down the horn but also up and down the dynamic range. I had a chance to go head to head between this horn and another great Serie III when I purchased and it was no contest to go with the solid silver version.
This is a rare chance to get this horn - they dont come up for sale very often and for good reason! This may be the very best modern saxophone ever made.
As noted in the description there is a small ding on the neck, below the octave key. It does not affect the tenon, seal, or shape of the neck. Everything else on the horn, including the pads and the case, is in like-new condition.
