⭕ Heres a rare bird all right...this 1958 Gibson ES-5 Switchmaster plays and sounds every bit as beautiful as it looks, and it is 100% all original with the original case. Absolutely stunning flametop. It would be perfect for the collector or player -- especially with its three original full-size humbuckers. They all have the PAF stickers still attached and are completely original to the guitar, unopened and unmolested.

This one had a charmed life as a jazz instrument and had flat wounds since new...as such the original frets are in excellent condition with lots of life left. Never even had a neck strap button installed. It recently had a pro setup with size 10 round wounds. The action is super low and you can bend and play anywhere on the neck without fretting out or buzzing. The finish is beautiful and still glossy with minimal finish checking. The plastic end pin is the only thing that may not be original but I dont think it matters much either way. The original Lifton case has seen better days but still protects and is original to the guitar since new.

The sound is unbelievable. You can get four unique PAF tones and each one is jaw-dropping, whether clean or overdriven. Neck pickup measures 7.15k, middle is 8.04k, and bridge is 7.64k. Perfect combination. The guitar weighs only 7 lbs 10 ounces. The neck measures a comfortable .889 at the first fret and 1.011 at the 12th fret. Round, C-shape neck. This all adds up to the one of the best guitars Ive ever played.
